Hail to the King!

Sev's in studio today with Count Jayne, formally King Jayne of Lochac - of the SCA, The Society of Creative Anachronism - the first openly trans crown holder of Lochac and an inspirational leader for a whole community of historical reenactment enthusiasts. They discuss the joys of the hobby, the impact of trans visibility and the importance of empowerment through community.

Community Conflicts and Resolutions

This week Ez & Marissa discuss community conflicts and resolutions. Together they share their experiences of conflict, managing triggers, restoring relationships with individuals and community, not to mention in depth discussion around reformation for people who perpetrated bad behaviour and the ways victims of that behaviour can heal.

Trans Justice Project

This week Ez updates you on local events around this coming weekend that you might like to attend if you are looking for safer queerer spaces to spend time. Also Trans Day or Resistance Protest in KGS Saturday 25th from 1PM. Ez was also joined by Jackie Turner from The Trans Justice Project to discuss their Statement of Solidarity and how organisations can align themselves with the trans community by signing this statement. Trans Bodies are NATURAL

This week Ez is joined in studio by Ellen from Megaherzzz who recently attended the AusPATH (Australian Professional Association for Trans Health) Conference in Naarm. Ellen and Ez spoke about access to trans health care in so-called-Australia sharing experiences, thoughts and interviews with Jackie Turner from the Trans Justice Project, Necho Brocchi on trans lives in prison as well as Lucy Solonsch chatting about peer models of care and autonomy centering care for trans folk.

Privilege Exchange

This week Ez & Sean discuss their personal experiences with transition in social spaces, walking the streets, and being perceived by the general public. They also touch on, the privilege exchange that happens as you move from 'one gender to the other,' including some of the challenges internalized misongyny presents while nagivating life within the trans community.

Pageboy

This week Ez flies solo reviewing Elliot Page's Memoir - Pageboy. Deep diving into his experience as a transman in Hollywood, truama, broken homes, dysphoria and fulfilling lifelong dreams of being a professional actor.
